char work (gia) personal project (work in progres)





this is a mail char i have been working on in conjunction with ash boycot who has been doing the concept designes and this is the work in progress

doll (website concept)





i have been working on a identity for my new website and decided to go with stiched up doll. and in doing this have created a little charictor of a doll all stiched together (obviously) looking a bit wilted and bit old. the idea for this is that even the oll taterd things u know can be weeved together to create something new. this is the idea i have and are currently running with it. i have created a doll in 3d for animation and mock up perposes but this is not the final design for the final designe for the 3d doll will look alot more like the scetch up. the idea is that the doll will move around to take u to the diffrent parts of the site. i will post what i have finaly decided after abit more testing.

UNREAL LEVEL













i have started work on a level wopr unreal tornament and have made a start on the areas and levels and floors and also added some light for ambiance to test it out. its a recreation of a shopping center in a town where i live its called the spindles shopping center the texters shown will not be the ones in use but ther there for display to show what it could look like when done.

in game unreal






my player has now been put in game but its has some underlying problems lol. the scripting given to get the modle in game only gives u 2 spaces to add reffrence to textures not 4 like my modle has. this is making the same texture for the body apear on the hair which is proving to be a problem which was nhot explained at the start of this project that we only can use 2 maps ill post some in game pictures now and some after i have figured out this problem showing myt progression but otherwise in the way the modle moves and interacts its is all working soundly . (yey)

unreal modle





hear is a modle i made for unral tornament 2004. we got given a project to make one with a polly count of 1500 or lower and my tuter asked me to make one as low as i possibly can ( because i started saying that low polly sux , only coz i hadent done any lol ) and i managed to make mine out of 1050 polys which is about as low as u can get it with out it looking diffrent than what i wanted or looking supid. i could have had it lower if i would have made a helmet or even just a bandaner but thats not what i wanted to make. this proiject was fun and somethig new not made somethign low polly before and quite enjoyed the challange. if i was to remake this modle i would have layed the uvw maps out better so there was no differation in my textures and materials.

game demonstration



we were asked in university to make a suggeston for a game based on a name and possibly description we are given the game me and my team were given ( my self , ash boycott and wing fi) the name we were given was the front 1916 and that's it and we had to make a suggestion for a game based on that name. so we decided after much deliberation to make a game about the first world war ( i know what your thinking oo that's obvious ) well we did it with a twist. to explain it in but fewer words. its a game about a single unit off elite solders chosen by a black ops secret agency for the government. made to take down a new evil super power that's playing with the occult. this new under cover super power is trying to harness evil energy to create new super solderers. there is allot more to it. but is a short render used in the presentation to show a quick example of gameplay and the menu system. (just realised that the file is too big even tho its only 10 seconds its 267meg ????)
